12/15/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Josiah upon arrival to the home. QMHP-C arrived to the home to conduct an individual session with Josiah. QMHP-C informed Josiah that the purpose of the session was to focus on Josiah demonstrating effective communication skills. 2. Behavior: Josiah appeared to be receptive to the interventions that were provided to him as well as him presenting cooperative behaviors throughout the session. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C engaged Josiah in a therapeutic activity that consisted of ways to communicate. QMHP-C role-played and conducted role-reversal scenarios in which he was taught how to be assertive, communicate effectively while still being respectful in nature. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C educated Josiah on the importance of communicating with his peers to avoid conflict resolution in the home and community setting. QMHP-C discussed with Josiah that when he exhibits positive communication skills then he will get far in life when it comes to things that he wants in the community and in the home. 1.Response: Josiah appeared to be receptive to QMHP-Csâ interventions and services that were provided to him during the session. During the therapeutic activity, Josiah participated in the role-playing and role-reversal scenarios in which he was taught how to be assertive, communicate effectively while still being respectful in nature. Josiah laughed during some of the re-enactment of the scenarios. Josiah expressed that he was fully aware that when or if he commits disruptive behaviors, there might be consequences. 2.Response: Josiah verbalized that he does get mad when he does not get his way, but at times he feels as if he is justified because he is always being told that he can do something, but then someone changes their mind. Josiah did well with replacing negative and angry thoughts will more positive thoughts.
